LEVEL DESIGN
On Halo: Outpost Discovery, I was responsible for building and managing the technical gameplay systems that interfaced with physical hardware and third-party applications. I developed an HTTP server to synchronize gameplay logic with external devices, created operator-friendly control interfaces, and ensured stable live operation during the launch.
-
Managed gameplay events and synced the coroutines that the gameplay logic was running on with the third-party application that the hardware (lights, rumble engines, and speakers) operated from.
-
Created and managed an HTTP server that was responsible for communicating with a third-party application to drive gameplay states, display information to the users, and record user data.
-
Managed a series of programs that drove gameplay behaviors while also creating an interface that operators could quickly and easily understand and explain to others if necessary.
-
Provided remote live support for the initial launch of the project while also ensuring that the staff members were able to operate the attraction easily and consistently without any issues.
-
Received instruction from 343 industries to ensure that the quality of the product met expectations and to ensure the product used their IP in accordance with their guideline.
